Mr. Allen was born in Rochester, NY, and received a degree in Business from Villanova University.

After college, Mr. Allen began working for Heritage Bag Company in a production capacity. Throughout his career he worked in nearly every department within the company, eventually becoming President/CEO. In 2005, Mr. Allen acquired Heritage Bag Company.

Mr. Allen is very active in a variety of philanthropic projects including education, ecology, conservation, veterans’ affairs, and health research.

Mr. Allen met his wife, Anne “Gigi”, while in high school. They have one daughter, three sons, and two grandchildren.
